Declaration of Faith: God’s Plan for your Life

As riders, we all know it’s customary to “plan a bike ride” on the open roads. Lately, my bike ride plans have been delayed, postponed, and even canceled. With the cooler temperature around the corner, this can be heartbreaking to a new rider like me, especially for someone who has been waiting with bated breath to riding in Fall weather. Then I was reminded of Psalm 37:23, which declared, “The steps of a man are ordered by the LORD who takes delight in his journey.” This brings me comfort in knowing some rides will not happen, and that’s ok. But the ones that do will be ordered, assigned, handpicked just for me, and I’m ok with that because that means if you or, I should stumble along the way, the Lord is going to be there with us.

So take heart dear Windsistah, when plans change, it’s ok. Sometimes the Spirit of our loving Father wants to share in the journey with us, ride with us, covering you and I every mile of the way.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future – Jeremiah 29:11

Declaration of Faith God’s Plan for your Life

My Father in heaven, I know it is never too late to write a better story for my life, and I believe in my heart that I am never lost to you. Wherever I am and whatever I go through, you are always with me. My life and time are in your hands. God, all of your thoughts for me are for good and never evil. Your plan for my life is to make me prosperous, give me hope, and provide for me a glorious future. You have handpicked everything that is best for me in life and presents it to me with great joy. Your desire for me is to live in your abundance. The calling on my life brings a smile to your face, and you always listen to me with great concern. When I seek you with all my heart, you see to it that I find you. You always rescue me from the powers of darkness and always come to my aid whenever I call to you.

May the Joy of the Lord instantly become your strength to encourage you to overcome any fears that you might experience. Remember, in our daring to be brave, when we throw caution to the wind, casting our cares in Faith upon Him through the ride. Peace, love, and joy are set loose in the atmosphere, and it permits other riders to do the same. Allowing us to all rejoice in knowing we have triumphant victory in Riding the Good Ride of Faith.

Be strong and of good courage,
