The season of Thanksgiving is upon us. Every November, we celebrate Thanksgiving and reflect on life’s lessons and the blessings they eventually turn out to be. For the past 2 years, I can say with all authority God has indeed been my family’s keeper, way-maker, and shelter during these past two years. We have become skilled at looking beyond our current situation and circumstances – be it blessings or struggles – and look to God, as our trustworthy source of all of our blessings.

Riding my Spyder with my husband this year has truly been a blessing for me and our way to escape all the madness that has plagued our country for the past two years. And it has taught me to press into 1 Thessalonians 5:18 that says… “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Faith will always make it possible for you to “rejoice always”
Now, it does not mean to give thanks FOR every little thing, like a child making a Christmas list for mom and dad. It means IN everything; that we might be going through….we are to give thanks. In bad days just as well as the good days, for rainy days, or days filled with sunshine. In sickness or in good health, without or with….Thanks-Living means we can say thank you to God for his faithfulness, no matter the situation or circumstance. We can thank Him because He never leaves or forsakes His own, and for His promise of eternal life through His darling Son Jesus Christ.
Give God thanks because no matter what it looks like, God is still on His throne; God is still in charge, and God will always have the final say. And for that, and that alone makes Him worthy of every praise and every thank you. This is a life of Thanks-Living, a life that reflects God’s Goodness and Mercy, chasing us down and riding along with us all the days of our lives.
May this prayer inspire you to live a life of Thanks-Living to honor our Lord Jesus Christ for all that He has done for you and me in this season of Thanksgiving.
Prayer of Thank-Living

Heavenly Father, I thank you for your Son Jesus, who you sacrificed so that I would not perish but have everlasting life.
Father, when I think of all that could have happened in my life and in the lives of those I love and cherish but didn’t, my soul cries out THANK YOU LORD! What can I say to a God who gives you everything you need when you deserve nothing at all? Lord, how can I ever thank You enough? Every time I’ve called on you, you have been right there in my time of need. My rock, when I was weak, and my hiding place when I needed shelter from the storms of life.
Father, Thank you! For being my Faithful God, the light that surrounds me, and the love that never fails me. For keeping my head lifted high and my eyes fixed toward your mountains where all my help has come from.
Father, continue to help me be a woman of faith who keeps her eyes on You and praises You, no matter what may come my way, for these blessings (name them) and these challenges (name them) Father, I thank you. I know You are always in control of everything, and everything you control will always work out for My Good and Your Glory.
Father, Thank You for answering my prayers and for being Faithful in my life every day. Please help me continue Riding the Good Ride of Faith while always reflecting a life of Thanks-Living In Jesus’ Name, I Pray Amen

May the Joy of the Lord instantly become your strength to encourage you to overcome any fears that you might experience. Remember, in our daring to be brave, when we throw caution to the wind, casting our cares in Faith upon Him through the ride. Peace, love, and joy are set loose in the atmosphere, and it permits other riders to do the same. Allowing us to all rejoice in knowing we have triumphant victory in Riding the Good Ride of Faith.
Be strong and of good courage,
