During November, we remind ourselves of all the things we have to be thankful for in our lives. Our family, a few good friends, jobs, good health, a loyal pet, a hobby, a long ride in beautiful weather. For some of us, it might be harder to see because FEAR seems to be ruling the day. But when you sit with yourself, taking a moment to think things over, you realize that FEAR is just False-Evidence-Appearing-Real.
There are just too many blessings to count, and if you are new to the bikers community like me, that list might be even longer! I am incredibly thankful for a lot of things in my life this year, the bad and the good. I’m so thankful, I had to narrow them down to 5. Why 5? Because it symbolizes God’s grace, His goodness, and His favor towards humans and is mentioned 318 times in Scripture. Five is the number of grace multiplied by itself, which is 25 and is ‘grace upon grace (John 1:16).
Grace is everything for nothing for those who don’t deserve anything.

Here’s 5 things I’m thankful for this year.
1- Faith
Above everything, I really and truly thank God for my Faith. Not just any old faith…I thank God for that “Grand Mama Faith” Faith model and displayed by my praying Grandmother, who taught me that Prayer is the key to God’s kingdom and my Faith is what unlocks the door. Faith is a part of me, and I wouldn’t know how to do life without it; it is the only thing that has never ever let me down…For Faith, Lord I Thank Ya!
2 – Family
If I’m being honest, and that is the point of Adventures of Fearless Faith, to share my heart and do so honestly. The past two years have really taken a toll on my family, and I thank God that my immediate family has not fallen under the Spirit of Delusion. I thank God for revealing that which no longer serves our family has been pruned off. Our faith, hope and trust in Our Lord Savior Jesus Christ is stronger than ever! He is literally all we have. Between the 2020 election, the great racial divide, and Covid-19, our family circle has been reduced to, dare I say… A Faithful Few that are determined to hold on to God’s unchanging hands… For Family, Lord I Thank Ya!
3 – Freedom
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom, and I understand that now more than ever before, and I truly thank God that I can move and have my being, living in a country where I’m free to ride the open road as a God-fearing woman of Faith. Nothing holding me back or keeping me down…I’m Free to be all that God has called me to be and I don’t have to apologize for loving My God and My Country… for Freedom, Lord I Thank Ya!
4 – Favor
There is an old saying, favor isn’t fair, and it’s true, but God’s favor is available to all that believe and are willing to receive. I thank God for his favor on my life and on the lives of my children and other people’s lives. I know when the favor of God is upon your life NOTHING! Can stop the blessings of God from getting to you. My Prayer is that the favor of God will chase me down, my family down, and always overtake us. One once of Favor can do what would take an eternity to accomplish…for Favor, Lord I Thank Ya!
5 – Forgiveness
I thank God that I can receive forgiveness at any point in my life, no matter how far I have strayed from God. Wisdom has taught me that I can’t hide from him, and I can’t fall out of His hands. God is not like a man…He doesn’t hold our foolishness against us…Lord knows I have done my share, but I’m so grateful that I can go to God in Prayer, “confess my sin; he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 john 1:9… For Forgiveness, Lord I Thank Ya!
What are you Thankful for in this season of Thanksgiving?
If this post ministered to you or encourage you in any way, please share with your fellow Wind Sisters.
May the Joy of the Lord instantly become your strength to encourage you to overcome any fears that you might experience. Remember, in our daring to be brave, when we throw caution to the wind, casting our cares in Faith upon Him through the ride. Peace, love, and joy are set loose in the atmosphere, and it permits other riders to do the same. Allowing us to all rejoice in knowing we have triumphant victory in Riding the Good Ride of Faith.
Be strong and of good courage,
LaShaun and Mrs. Cavatica
