Adventures of Fearless Faith Ryders Devotional

This message didn’t just come to me once. It kept showing up.
During Holy Week, I decided to watch some of my favorite Biblical movies, like The Ten Commandments, which was an Easter tradition in my childhood, along with The Robe and Ben-Hur.
It all began while I was watching The Book of Daniel and saw the word TEKEL appear on the wall.
“Weighed in the balance.”
Then I heard it again while listening to an audiobook about Padre Pio. The same word, with the same weight and conviction. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just a coincidence. I felt God was trying to get my attention. Somewhere between that moment and the miles I spent on the open road and the spyder sister sip & social I had planned a few weeks ago, my prayer became: “Lord… don’t let me be weighed in the balance and found wanting.”
“Lord… don’t let me be weighed in the balance and found wanting.”

In Daniel 5:27: “You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.”
The king seemed to have everything on the outside, but he was missing what mattered most inside. But that’s not the end of the story. What TEKEL revealed, Jesus came to redeem through the cross and resurrection.

Noone could interpret the message, so Prophet Daniel was called in to interpret the message to King of Babylon
When I ryde my three-wheel bike on the open road, this message feels different. Out there, it’s just you, the road, and God.
You feel every shift.
You trust the balance.
You surrender control mile by mile.
In those moments, you realize you don’t have to carry the burden of trying to measure up. You don’t need to prove your worth. Easter reminds us that the scale has already been settled.
Where we fall short, Jesus stepped in.
Where we lack, He is enough.
So when the world whispers “TEKEL,” grace answers: “Redeemed.”

So as you ryde, both on the road and through this season, let this be your prayer:
Father God, thank You for meeting me in moments that catch my attention. Thank You for speaking to my spirit. As I ryde through life on and off the bike with You, keep my heart aligned and my spirit surrendered. When I am weighed, let it not be my flaws that speak, but let Your righteousness cover me. Because of Jesus, I am redeemed and restored, never lacking in You.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
During this Resurrection season,
Ryde steady.
Ryde surrendered.
Because you were weighed, but through Jesus Christ our Savior you are redeemed. You are not found wanting

The Scale said TEKEL… But the Cross said Redeemed.
