Fuel Your Faith
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5–6 (NIV)

Fuel Stop
Have you ever looked up and wondered where the month went?
That’s exactly how I felt as June came to a close.
One minute it was the beginning of the month, and the next I found myself reflecting on everything God had done… things I never could have planned, predicted, or controlled.
If someone had told me at the beginning of June everything that would happen, I probably would have smiled politely and thought, There’s no way.
Why?
Because I’ve spent much of my life wanting to know the plan. I like order. I like preparation. I like having my hands firmly on the handlebars.
But somewhere along this journey, God gently reminded me that while I may hold the handlebars of my Spyder, He’s the One holding my life.
Earlier this year, I prayed a simple prayer that changed everything:
“Lord, wherever You send me, I’ll go. Whatever You ask me to do, I’ll do.”
That prayer has led me down roads I never expected. Some exciting. Some uncomfortable. Some that stretched my faith beyond what felt comfortable.
Yet every mile has revealed God’s faithfulness.

As ryders, we know preparation matters. Before every ryde we inspect our bikes, suit up with our ryding gear, check the weather, and plan our route. Then we do something remarkable, we trust.
We trust our training.
We trust our machine.
Most importantly, we trust God to guide us safely every mile of the journey.
What if we lived every day with that same confidence?
Before putting on our helmet, we put on the full Armor of God.
Before checking our GPS, we seek God’s direction.
Before gripping the handlebars, we surrender our hearts.
Life isn’t about giving up responsibility. It’s about giving God permission to interrupt our plans with His purpose.
Sometimes the most courageous thing we can do isn’t opening the throttle.
Sometimes it’s opening our hands.
Because surrender isn’t weakness.
It’s trust.
And every time we say, “Yes, Lord,” we make room for Him to do immeasurably more than we could ever imagine.
As we begin this new month, don’t be afraid if God changes your route.
The best adventures often begin with a detour.
Remember this promise: God will always work things together for your good and His glory.
So this July, loosen your grip.
Let Him lead.
The Author of your faith has never taken a wrong turn.

Faith Reflection
Take a quiet moment and ask yourself:
- Where am I gripping the handlebars too tightly?
- What plans, fears, or expectations am I struggling to surrender to God?
- If Jesus asked me to change direction today, would my answer be, “Yes, Lord”?
- Am I trusting God’s map, or insisting on following my own?
Sometimes faith isn’t about knowing the destination.
It’s about trusting the One leading the ryde.

Faith in Action Challenge
This month, I challenge every Windsister to practice surrender.
Each morning before your feet hit the floor, pray these simple words:
“Lord, today I surrender my plans, my schedule, my expectations, and my worries to You. Order my steps. Interrupt me if You need to. Lead me where You want me to go. Today my answer is yes.”
If you’re heading out on a ryde, pause before you start your engine. Place your hand on your bike and dedicate every mile to Him.
Then pay attention.
Notice the conversations He arranges.
Notice the people He places in your path.
Notice the unexpected blessings hidden in what looked like interruptions.
At the end of each day, write down one moment when you saw God’s hand directing your journey.
By the end of July, you’ll have a beautiful record of His faithfulness.

Let Us Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being the One who faithfully leads every mile of our journey. Forgive us for the times we grip the handlebars of our lives so tightly that we leave no room for You to steer.
Father God, today we surrender our plans, our timelines, our fears, and our need for control. Teach us to trust You even when we can’t see around the next curve. Help us to walk by faith instead of by sight.
Father God, as we ryde through this month, clothe us with the full Armor of God. Protect us physically on the road and spiritually in our daily lives. Make us women who are quick to obey, eager to serve, and willing to say, “Yes, Lord,” no matter where You lead.
Use our lives to encourage others, reflect Your love, and bring glory to Your name.
Order our steps.
Guide our hearts.
Strengthen our faith.
And remind us that the greatest adventure is following You.
In Jesus’ mighty name we pray
Amen.

July Road Blessing
“May the Lord direct your path, steady your hands, calm your heart, and fill your spirit with courage. May every mile you travel this month remind you that the safest place you’ll ever be is following the One who already knows the road ahead. Ride fearless, love boldly, and trust completely. Amen.”
Ride Fearless. Live Faith-Fueled.
